What is a credit?
The unit the pay-per-use features are priced in. A verified pattern design is 10 credits, an identifier or advisor answer is 2, and a studio image is priced per tool and tier on that tool's page. Calculators and converters are free. The pattern library is not priced in credits: it is included with any plan.
Is the pattern library included?
Yes, with any plan. Every pattern in the library, with its PDF, is included while a plan is active. The first rounds of each pattern, its supply list and notes are free to read without an account. Credit packs are credits only and do not include the library.
Do I get anything free?
Yes. Every new account starts with 30 credits, enough for a few designs or images, and there is no time limit on using them. The first rounds of every library pattern, the reference tables and the articles are free to read without an account.
What is the difference between a plan and a pack?
A plan sets your balance to its credit amount at the start of every billing month, is the cheapest way to buy credits, and includes the pattern library. A pack is a one-off purchase of credits that never expire; it does not include the library. You can hold both: pack credits sit alongside plan credits.
What happens to unused plan credits at the end of the month?
Plan credits are set to the plan amount each cycle, so they do not carry over. Pack credits are not touched by the cycle and stay until you use them.
Am I charged when a design does not verify?
No. If the checker cannot verify a spec after every attempt, that request is not charged.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from the billing portal. The plan stays active, with its credits, until the end of the month you paid for. Pack credits are unaffected by cancelling.
Is there a free trial?
There is no timed trial; the 30 sign-up credits are the trial, and they do not expire.
