- Almost everything: outlines in two or three strands, satin stitch and knots in three to six, cross-stitch in two.
- Notes
- Six fine strands loosely twisted together; pull the strands out one at a time and recombine the number you need. The DMC card runs to about 500 colours, and other brands publish conversion tables to it. Mercerised, so it has a soft sheen and stays colourfast in washing.
