- A flat, open pretzel-shaped knot in the middle of a hanger or between sections; often tied with doubled cords for weight.
- How it is tied
- One cord makes a loop; the second cord passes under the loop, over the first cord's end, then weaves under and over through the loop in an over-under pattern. Tightened gently and evenly so the knot stays flat and open.
