- Mounting a folded cord on a dowel, ring or holding cord; the start of almost every wall hanging and plant hanger.
- How it is tied
- Fold the cord in half, lay the loop over the dowel from front to back, and pull the two ends down through the loop. The bump of the loop faces the front. Every mounted cord gives two working strands.
