- Finishing raw edges of felt and wool, appliqué edges, decorative borders, flower shapes worked in a circle.
- How it works
- The needle goes into the fabric a stitch length from the edge and comes out at the edge over the working thread, forming an L-shaped stitch with a bar along the edge. Spaced stitches are blanket stitch; the same stitch worked with the stitches touching is buttonhole stitch.
