Filling stitches: cm of thread per square cm of solid cover with all six strands (halve the strands and the figure doubles). How it works
An odd number of straight stitches (usually five) are worked from the centre of a circle to its edge, then the thread comes up in the centre and is woven over and under the spokes round and round until they are covered. Thread factor is per square cm of the finished wheel with six strands.
