- Small V shapes for birds, leaf veins and ferns; worked in a column it makes a leaf or a feathered line.
- How it works
- A V-shaped loop held down at its point with a straight stitch, like a detached chain that is open at the top. Stacked fly stitches with the holding stitches touching form a continuous vein.
