- Bold outlines, lettering, filling shapes in spirals or rows, the base of many composite stitches.
- How it works
- Bring the thread up, take the needle back down in the same hole and up a stitch length ahead, keeping the thread under the needle tip so it forms a loop; each new loop holds the previous one. The last loop is held down with a tiny stitch.
