Filling stitches: cm of thread per square cm of solid cover with all six strands (halve the strands and the figure doubles). - Light, textured filling of a shape without covering it; shading that grows denser toward one edge.
- How it works
- Tiny straight stitches of equal length scattered in random directions inside a shape. Two stitches side by side make a bolder seed. The thread factor assumes a medium scattering; denser seeding uses more.
